Retreat Terms and Conditions

Definitions

 ‘Cancellation’ is defined as not attending your scheduled Retreat, including postponing or rescheduling. ‘You’ refers to the guest booking a Wellness Retreat that is part of Angus Knott Yoga. ‘We’ refers to Angus Knott Yoga and those he is collaborating on this Retreat with. It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Payment Policy

To secure your place, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required, with the remaining balance owing by 01/07/24.

Guest Cancellation Policy

Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators does not offer deposit refunds for any cancellation, this is due to the prepaid nature that we must adhere to at the accommodation venue.

I acknowledge should I decide at any point during the Retreat that I no longer wish to participate to any extent, I do so with complete awareness that I will not receive any compensation of any sort or refund in any amount.

Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators Retreats Cancellation Policy

 While we have never cancelled a retreat to date, if Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators cancels or changes a scheduled retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payments to us, constituting a full settlement.

Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators are not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule:

•  If you cancel 80 – 110 days before your retreat start date, you will be refunded the full amount minus your non refundable deposit.
• If you cancel 50 – 79 days before your retreat start date, you will be refunded 50% of your balance minus your non refundable deposit.
• If you cancel 49 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.  

Photography/Video

I hereby grant Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators the right and permission to use photographic images and videos in which I feature that are taken during the course of the retreat to use/republish for commercial use in association with Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators. I hereby release and discharge Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators from all and any kind of claims and demands arising out or in connection with the use of the photo and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason. It is highly encouraged to explore travel insurance as soon as you have paid the deposit. It is suggested to investigate cover for natural disasters and personal injuries. We do not offer credit for arriving late to the Retreat or leaving early from the Retreat.

By booking and paying your non-refundable deposit, you agree to these terms.

Retreat Liability Waiver

I am participating in the Retreat offered by Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators, during​ ​which I will receive information and instruction in Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Dance, Energy Healing, Sound Healing, Breathwork, and other movement modalities. I recognise that these​ ​activities require physical exertion. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved and take full responsibility for myself during all activities​ ​and free time.

I understand that during every activity, everything is my choice. We advocate strongly for bodily autonomy, so although we will offer progressions and suggestions these are the practitioners discretion.

I understand that Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators and the team will ​take all ​care, but they shall not be held liable for any injuries incurred during the retreat. This includes but is not limited to; practices & workshops facilitated by Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators and activites undertaken in my own free time, at the property as well as off-site.

I understand that there is a pool at the property that is not monitored by a lifeguard. It is my responsibility to determine my capacity to be safe in the water.

I understand that if I am pregnant, that I am of fit health to participate in​ ​the Retreat. I accept that it’s my responsibility to alert Angus Knott Yoga & Collaborators prior to the Retreat that I​ ​am pregnant. It is recommended​ ​that you consult your doctor and they sign off the​ ​activities are safe for you.

By participating in the Retreat, I​ ​agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages,​ ​known or unknown, which I may incur as a result of my participation.​ ​

I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand​ ​its contents. I acknowledge that I have had ample opportunity before agreeing to the above ​to get independent legal advice.
